King Clumbers

is located in Davie, Florida. Davie is a little bit of country nestled between two big cities,

Ft. Lauderdale to the north and Miami to the south.

We are a small kennel and do not breed for profit or notoriety. Our goal is to produce healthy, happy, sound Clumber Spaniels. True to type and temperament. Our desire is to have our dogs placed in loving homes regardless if they be companion, conformation or trained for hunt, obedience, agility, tracking or any other event or title.

Our puppies are raised in our home as part of our family. They are well socialized and introduced to our older dogs at an early age, interacting with them on a daily basis.

With an extreme focus on nutrition , our dogs are fed a premium quality kibble, prepared fresh meats and premium quality canned whole meats are used as mixers. Canine nutrition is a key interest of ours and we continue to study the latest medical research in nutrition and supplementation to ensure our dogs receive the best diet possible.

Our dogs, depending on age at placement, (the earliest our puppies are placed is 12 weeks of age), go to their new homes with most if not all of their vaccinations, micro chipped, partially and or completely housebroken, veterinarian exam (Health Certificate provided), crate and leash trained.

The placing of our dogs is of the utmost importance to us, this is why we request that all potential owners fill out our questionnaire. We promise to provide guidance and support for the life of the dog. We encourage and hope that you contact us as often as needed.

Puppy Buyers "BEWARE"

You've seen a Clumber Spaniel on TV or read about the breed in a dog book or perhaps came across one in the park, and now you MUST have one. Before you dash off and buy one from an internet breeder, pet store or newspaper ad, PLEASE spend some time learning about the breed and find out if a Clumber Spaniel is indeed the right dog for you. If you do decide on a Clumber Spaniel, please avoid those breeders who are only breeding to sell puppies. While they may seem caring and family oriented, they bred with little, if any, attention to the health and temperament of either their breeding stock or their puppies. Do your homework. Talk to and buy only from responsible, ethical breeders who continuously study pedigrees, do health checks and participate in organizations and activities that increase their knowledge of the breed and of their dogs. Ethical breeders will not just take your money, they will be there to answer your many questions and serve as a mentor for the life of your dog.
